LazyDroid, la fotocamera del telefono come webcam su skype (inglese)

  • Open http://www.webcamxp.com/download.aspx
  • Download and install "IP Camera [JPEG/MJPEG] DirectShow Filter 4.6.0.0"
  • Open the skype
  • Go to tools -> options
  • Go general sheet on the left
  • Go to video settings on the left
  • On the right, above the webcam preview, there is a list of webcams ... choose "IP Camera [JPEG/MJPEG]"
  • Click on webcam settings, below the webcam preview
  • In the new window, choose raw url mode
  • Go to video settings in the options window
  • Put ** "http://TELEPHONE-IP:8080/Services/Camera/GetStream" in the textbox below raw url mode
  • Check mjpeg mode
  • Select 15 from Filter's Frame Rate [fps], the combobox in the middle-bottom part of the window
  • Press Save
  • Press OK

Instead of using skype, msn, google talk video or any other messaging software you can use video survilliance softwares too with the same technique!

** you need to replace TELEPHONE-IP with the phone ip or the phone hostname.

NOTE1: you can't directly change the resolution of the webcam using this driver/filter or using skype, you need to open lazydroid, open camera window and change the resolution from there. The resolution will be automatically updated at runtime.
NOTE2: This has been tested only over the Wi-Fi connection and not over USB!
NOTE3: This is third party driver, can't fix any bug or problem :\, in general you just need a MJPEG Direct Show Filter to use the phone camera video stream.
